This mini tree moss terrarium makes for the perfect gift for your terrarium loving friend or a great addition to your own collection!

This DIY terrarium kit comes with everything you need. It is super simple and fun to build and takes no time at all! You will receive 1 tree moss, a piece of mood or cushion moss, and the glass container with lid.

Since it is a small opening you will need to break off little pieces of moss and drop it down into the bottom of the jar. Do this until the bottom is covered and then place the tree moss piece directly in the center.
(You don't need any special tools to build this. One thing that works great for properly placing everything where you want it and cleaning up the glass is a q-tip!)

Once assembled put a drop or two of filtered water on top of the moss. Next just close up the cork lid prevent water loss and maintain proper humidity in the container. This terrarium requires very little care and maintenance.
The important thing to remember is not to over water and not to leave in direct sunlight or complete darkness for long periods of time. Moss usually dies when we overwater or keep it under bright light for too long. Most moss grows in moist (not soaking) environments with little light, so it will do just fine in a spot with indirect lighting. No need to keep it under a grow light.
